Below are some photographs of some of the fleet that we
maintain at BBS. AZURA is a Fisher's Island 31', designed by Sidney
Herreshoff and originally built in 1929. The two Concordia's are: WIND
SONG 28' (1938) and SECRET 31'. SEA HAWK is a Buzzards Bay 15'
(E Boat) built in 1915 at the Herreshoff Manufacturing Company in Bristol, RI.
ARIEL II is a 1931 Herreshoff Power Cruiser rebuilt at Ballentine's.
The Shellback and Peapod are
tenders built to order at BBS. HOOLIGAN was designed and built by Steve's father, George Ballentine in 1952.
The Stuart Knockabout is Steve Ballentine's new favorite toy, all new Stuarts
built by E & D Stuart
come to Ballentine's for their initial brightwork finish.
TEASER is a
Herreshoff Newport 29' and MERLOT is a Palmer Scott 25', both boats had
extensive rebuilds at BBS.
