BBS has restored numerous Herreshoff 12 1/2 footers.
Currently we are doing a complete rebuild on
MALABAR, which was
originally built in 1937 at the Herreshoff Manufacturing Company
in Bristol, RI.

MERLOT, a 22' Palmer Scott, was built in 1952 . It was
used exclusively as a photography or chase boat for the renowned
Norman Fortier, out of Padanaram.

TORCH is a 1929 Fishers Island 31 (44’ LOA) designed by Sidney
Herreshoff. BBS restored her for display at the Herreshoff
Museum in Bristol, RI. She was returned to her original
configuration, look, and feel. Visitors to the museum are
invited to climb aboard and to visit below deck for a glimpse
back in time.

TEASER, a 36-foot Newport 29 designed by Nathaniel Herreshoff,
was originally built in 1926 by the Herreshoff Manufacturing
Company as the fourth boat of this 1915 design. TEASER's rebuild
was completed in 1994 and she currently sails out of Dartmouth,
MA.

ARIEL II is a 46-foot
Power Cruiser designed by Sidney Herreshoff and built in 1931.
The owner’s desire was to maintain the authenticity of design,
feel, and function while incorporating unseen modern
conveniences including electronics, hot water, refrigeration,
and climate control. Her rebuild was completed in 2003. ARIEL II
hails from New Bedford, MA.
