Restoration Opportunity:
BEAN MO CHROI is the one and and only original centerboard L Francis Herreshoff Design 51, now an immensely popular design in fiberglass. Because of her history and pedigree, we hope to give her a full restoration so that she can continue to inspire sailors for the next 80 years.  If you are interested in BEN, please feel free to call or email.

"BEN" awaits a full rebuild
BBS has restored numerous Herreshoff 12 1/2 footers.  We have just finished a complete rebuild on MALABAR, which was originally built in 1937 at the Herreshoff Manufacturing Company in Bristol, RI.

TORCH is a 1929 Fishers Island 31 (44’ LOA) designed by Sidney Herreshoff. BBS restored her for display at the Herreshoff Museum in Bristol, RI. She was returned to her original configuration, look, and feel. Visitors to the museum are invited to climb aboard and to visit below deck for a glimpse back in time.
Her sister ship AZURA is currently for sail.  Click Here for more information.

ARIEL II is a 46-foot Power Cruiser designed by Sidney Herreshoff and built in 1931. The owner’s desire was to maintain the authenticity of design, feel, and function while incorporating unseen modern conveniences including electronics, hot water, refrigeration, and climate control. Her rebuild was completed in 2003. ARIEL II hails from New Bedford, MA.

Look Familiar?  Ariel II was a Wooden Boat calendar girl in 2006.
