Our finish department is widely known for the quality of their
work. Multiple times other yards have called us to find
out how we get, and keep, our brightwork so impeccable.
Consistently our wooden boats are mistaken for fiberglass hulls
because they look that fair. Fiberglass boats in our
care also stand out as we keep them well polished
and protected. They are clean and elegant with the same
attention to brightwork as our wooden boats. Look at the
pictures throughout this website to appreciate the skill of our finish
department.

To look at our work, people assume
that it must be ridiculously expensive.... you may be surprised.
While this level of care is inherently time intensive, and we
insist on being thorough, our labor rate is one of the lowest
in the area. Our employees have been with us for many
years, so they are practiced and efficient.

Our regular maintenance customers
also store here and we take care of all aspects of the boat's
care and schedule from haul through launch. We also have a
few boats that are stored elsewhere and come to us to have the
best varnish and paint care. These boats will often come
mid season for a week or two when the owners know that they will
not need their boat. For more information on this option
please email or call.
