ARIEL II is a 46-foot Power Cruiser designed by Sidney Herreshoff and built in 1931. The owner’s desire was to maintain the authenticity of design, feel, and function while incorporating unseen modern conveniences including electronics, hot water, refrigeration, and climate control. Her rebuild was completed in 2003. ARIEL II hails from New Bedford, MA.

BEN MO CHREE is the one and and only original centerboard L Francis Herreshoff Design 53, now an immensely popular design in fiberglass (The Stuart Knockabout). Considering her history and pedigree, we are excited to be giving her a full restoration (for her new owner) ensuring that she will continue to inspire sailors for the next 80 years. We hope to start her restoration after completing CAPTAIN KIDD, the 12 1/2 that we are currently working on.

Stay tuned for Website updates on her progress.
