MAGNOLIA WARBLER’s hull, bottom, sails and trailer are all in very good condition. Her brightwork could use a little attention as far as smoothing the surface out. She spent most of her time sailing in Florida waters before returning to New England.
The Doughdish is a fiberglass with teak trim. It is built to the exact hull dimensions and rig of the sloops designed by N. G. Herreshoff in 1914. As a result they are able to compete against the wooden boats in class races and regattas.
She is currently at the owner’s home in Gloucester and can be seen by appointment. Contact Amy or Matt at Ballentine’s Boat Shop to arrange a viewing. Email for more information about this listing or to schedule an appointment, or call for Amy or Matt at 508-563-2800.
