She was still secured to her 2022 Triad trailer just as she was the day she left Ballentine’s Boat Shop. She is ready for a new home for her first splash. She is a brand new boat at a discount.
The Doughdish is a fiberglass reproduction of the original Herreshoff 12 1/2 footer. It is constructed in foam sandwich fiberglass with teak trim. It is built to the exact hull dimensions and rig of the sloops designed by N. G. Herreshoff in 1914. As a result they are able to compete against the wooden boats in class races and regattas.
